Note that the PCB must be placed horizontally and straight in the scanner, otherwise the scanned image cannot be used, and the file should be saved.

The fourth step is to adjust the PCB: adjust the contrast and brightness of the canvas to make the part with the copper film and the part without the copper film have a strong contrast. Check if the lines are clear, if not, repeat this step. If it is clear, save the picture as black and white BMP format files TOP.BMP and BOT.BMP. If you find any problems with the graphics, you can also use PHOTOSHOP to repair and correct them.

The fifth step, drop the picture: use the copy board software to drop the picture you just found into the PROTEL file, and start copying according to the picture above. Before copying, you need to measure the PCB size for later trouble.

The sixth step, copy the PCB picture: When copying the picture, it must be clearly distinguished if the two layers are TOP and BOT. When copying the board, use the top overlay layer for the characters on the TOP layer, and use the bottom overlay layer for the characters on the BOT layer.
